We all need a friend we can talk to about anything. But it’s not always easy to find people who are willing to open up about pretty much anything. Allow me to be that friend. This is a podcast where no topic is off-limits, and we swap judgment for aiming to understand and relate to each other. Let’s just talk about life--the messy parts, and the pretty parts, and the in-between. We’ll talk self-love, mental health, relationships, body image, and so much more! Have a topic you wanna bring on? Pitch your idea to me over on Instagram @laurenmkendrick.

Bonus: Conversations with my Fiancé about Race
Thursday Jul 16, 2020
Thursday Jul 16, 2020
Tensions are high in America as we become further divided on who to vote for in the upcoming election, whether or not to wear a face mask, and oh...do Black Lives Matter??
In this bonus episode I sit down with my fiancé Jason, and have a difficult conversation about race. But this isn't new to us...as an interracial couple (he's Black, I'm white) we've been having a lot of these conversations lately.
And while these conversations may be uncomfortable, intense, and time-consuming...they're important. We both find it important to educate ourselves and open our eyes to a variety of beliefs, experiences, and research.
This episode should not take the place of your own education or research, nor should you assume that Jason's experience of a Black man in America is the only valid perspective.
I recommend that you continue to form your beliefs on this topic, and take whatever action you feel is necessary based on what you discover along the way.
Our goal with this episode is simply to share our experiences, opinions, beliefs and highlight other perspectives we've been exposed to. Thanks for listening!

Ep. 84: 3 Keys to Living a Successful Life
Wednesday Jul 15, 2020
Wednesday Jul 15, 2020
The most basic definition of success is “the accomplishment of an aim or purpose”. Most people think of success as some sort of end game...a destination, or a “when”. I hear so many women saying things like…
“When I lose 20 pounds”
“When I get the job”
“When I live in my dream house”
We think our major accomplishments are the epitome of success. And then we assume that our happiness and fulfillment must be delayed until we possess those accomplishments.
But the truth is...success is a state of mind. And you can make the commitment right now to be successful for the rest of your life. In this episode, I share 3 keys to living your most successful, exuberant life.

Ep. 83: How to Build the Courage to Step out of your Comfort Zone
Wednesday Jul 08, 2020
Wednesday Jul 08, 2020
For a really long time, I held onto a belief that if I’m not naturally good at something then that’s all there is to it. I should just not do that thing. Couple that with my belief that I should strive for perfection, and I rarely felt brave enough to step out of my comfort zone.
In the process of not wanting to make myself uncomfortable, I felt like something was missing. I knew that if I wanted to be a successful woman and make a difference...I’d have to learn to be brave.
But first there were a few mindset shifts I needed to make before I was able to build up the courage to step out of my comfort zone. In this episode, I'll teach you how you can reframe your thinking on perfectionism and failure so you can begin to appreciate the process it takes to reach the level of success you crave (no matter how big or small your dreams are).
If you’re looking for more ways to help your mindset work for you, and not against you check out the All or Something Lifestyle Crash Course.

Ep. 81: My Top 5 Stress Management Tools
Wednesday Jun 24, 2020
Wednesday Jun 24, 2020
Stress is something we all have in common. And even though it’s something we can relate to, we all handle it in different ways. I grew up with a very stress-prone mom, and as a result I picked up her frantic worrying tendencies. It wasn’t until I realized how much it was negatively impacting my happiness and health that I decided it was time for a change.
Although stress isn’t inherently “bad”, it’s important to make sure that you’re not allowing it to overpower or exhaust you. The negative impact brought on by stress usually comes from the way it shows up in your body. So how do you counteract it? Through changing your physical state.
In this episode I share 5 tools for managing stress that aren’t necessarily new or abstract, but they are the most impactful ways I can think of that allow me to feel centered as often as possible.
The less you allow stress to hold you back, the more productive and present you can become in your everyday life.
Stress is inevitable. The good news is you get to choose how you respond to it. Save this post and think of it as a great starter kit for dealing with life as it comes. When you stress less, you get to show up more fully in your life!
Want to know other ways you can begin to change your thought patterns, and start living a more carefree life?? Check out the All or Something Living Crash Course!

Ep. 80: 3 Simple Steps to Becoming more Confident
Wednesday Jun 17, 2020
Wednesday Jun 17, 2020
Did you know that a more confident person is likely to be chosen for a job over someone with more experience? Confidence is something we all long for, yet many of us lack.
The good news is that confidence isn’t something you’re either born with or not. It’s something you can build on and improve over time, just like any other skill or habit.
In this episode, I'll teach you 3 steps you can take to become a more confident version of yourself, so that you can show up more fully in your life and create the success you desire.

Ep. 79: How to Speak up in Times of Controversy
Thursday Jun 04, 2020
Thursday Jun 04, 2020
2020 has been quite a year. One that will surely be documented in the history books. It’s only June, yet we find ourselves facing another major division in our country. We are waking up and becoming more aware of the violence and injustice against black people in our country.
I’ve found myself caught in the crossfire of having a black fiance and stepson, and a brother who is a cop. It’s been challenging for me to not only face the feelings and the reality of the world my fiance grew up in, and the one we’re raising his son in...but it’s been intimidating to speak out against it.
The fear and discomfort that I feel facing the issues is nothing compared to the discrimination and oppression that has plagued the black community for over 400 years.
For that reason, it’s vital for me to push my discomfort aside to not only educate myself, but to take action. We must not remain neutral, we must become anti-racist.
Angela Davis said, “In a racist society, it is not enough to be non-racist, we must be anti-racist.”
As a business and brand that stands for love and equality, I feel it is my duty to get involved in this conversation and to encourage you to do the same. Black Lives Matter.
And to the black people in my community: I see you, I’m here for you, and I will take action and stand alongside you as your ally.
To my fellow white allies: Here is a list of resources to help get you started. Keep in mind that there are a TON of resources out there, and this is just a very basic list.

Ep. 78: The Biggest Belief that Keeps you Stuck
Wednesday May 27, 2020
Wednesday May 27, 2020
We all have that one thing that keeps us from going after what we desire most. For many, it’s fear. Fear of failure...fear of greatness...fear of the unknown.
But where do you think the fear stems from? It comes from a very common belief. And although most of us know deep down that this belief isn’t true...we still allow it to hold us back.
So what do you think the belief is?? Listen to the episode to find out!
In this episode I not only share the #1 belief that likely keeps you stuck, but we’ll also get into the roots. Where does it come from? How can you explore the impact it makes on your own life? And most importantly...how do you move past it??
You always have the opportunity to choose again, and write a new story! At the end of the episode I offer a journal prompt, plus an exciting announcement.
And be sure to reach out to me on Instagram (@laurenmkepler) to let me know your thoughts, so I can put out more helpful content specifically tailored to you!

Ep. 76: Interview with my Fiancé
Wednesday Apr 08, 2020
Wednesday Apr 08, 2020
7 years ago I met a man that turned my world upside down. I was 22 at the time, had just given up on men (was in my "man-hating" phase) and decided to be a single independent woman living her best life.
Of course when I decided I was happy alone, I attracted a man right to me. That's how it always goes, right?? Anyway, up to that point my longest relationship had been 3 months. Most men I dated were verbally abusive cheaters, and for some reason I felt like I didn't deserve any better.
Then Jason entered the picture...he was respectful, funny, outgoing...he actually took me on dates! Early on we both figured it was just a fling & that our relationship wasn't really going anywhere. After all, we were both active duty Air Force in England at the time. He was supposed to deploy at any moment, and I had plans to separate from the military and move back to the states just a few months after we met.
Somehow the stars aligned...and here we are 7 years later about to get married. It's been a whirlwind and so much has happened since then. There were times that our relationship felt like an unreal fairytale. And times when I never thought we'd come back from some of the mistakes we made.
We were supposed to be getting married next month. Then everything went down with COVID-19, and we had to push back to October. But we didn't let that get to us, because Jason's positive outlook on life has transformed my life...and that's the exact kind of life partner I want!
We don't claim to be relationship experts AT ALL, and our relationship is far from perfect. But we wanted to share some of our life together with you in hopes that you can relate, feel more "normal", laugh with us, or get inspired.
In this episode we cover the story of how we met, what it was like for him to bring a son into the relationship, our biggest struggles as a couple (hint: Money, sex, parenting), and so much more!
Come hang out with us!
